Melina started swimming when she was 7 years old. She swam competitively with Pearland Aquatics for over 8 years and for her high school team, lettering in the 500 Freestyle. Swimming has been a huge part of her life and it is something she enjoys sharing with others.

Leyton

Coach

Leyton has been swimming since he was an infant with the encouragement of his mom. He has swam for Summer leagues and swimming clubs since he was 9 years old and is currently involved in water polo. He has grown up in the water and enjoys helping others to find their comfort and joy of the water.

Nathan

Coach

Nathan started swimming when he was 2 years old and joined Pearland Aquatics when he was 6 years old. He currently swims for a Men's Team in his free time when he is not reading or working out. Nathan has also written and published a children's science book.

Anna Kate

Coach

Anna Kate swam competitively for 10 years with Pearland Aquatics and now swims at the collegiate level for Ouachita Baptist University. Getting to instruct others on swimming and swim safety is something she is passionate about and wants to share her love for the water with others, while maintaining a safe environment.

Coach

Ryan started swimming during the Summers when he turned 5. He joined Pearland Aquatics when he was 7 and is now swimming for his school's swim team. Through the years of swimming and his involvement in Boy Scouts, he has developed a love of helping and teaching others.

Barbara

Instructor

Bárbara is a certified WSI RedCross swim instructor. She swam competitively in her high school’s varsity swim team. Her enthusiasm to continue to be in the water led her to become a swim instructor. At the moment, she is an incoming graduate student at UH pursuing a career as a professional counselor.

Kiernan

Instructor

Kiernan began swimming with summer swim league, then moved on to swim for Pearland Aquatics and her high school, where she did diving and waterpolo. She started teaching as a junior coach for her summer league team 7 years ago and has continued to work with PEAK since then. She is currently a senior at Baylor studying physical therapy and hopes to combine her passions into a career in aquatic therapy.
